Sabatino Cersosimo is an Italian painter currently living and working in Berlin. Cersosimo paints on steel plates using the process of oxidation of water, salt and oil colors. The process of creation in his work, from welding of plates to varnishing at last, requires time and technical knowledge. Being emotionally engaged with his work results in expressive paintings speaking to our
imagination. The content of the artworks themselves consist of time passing and development. We witness shifting, and in some cases, mutating into other forms, much like the elements of nature on,the planet.
